Missing Persons/Skip Tracing
Our Missing Persons Investigations (or "skip traces", as they're sometimes called) are designed to locate persons for a variety of reasons. From simply
locating a witness, to a complex adoption or runaway investigation, you can trust Delphic to locate your "missing person". We collect as much information
as possible about the subject. We then analyze, reduce, and verify the information to form an opinion as to the subject's location. Sometimes the subject's
current whereabouts are in the data, but is obfuscated by the sheer amount of information or disinformation. Having a professional that can sift through
the mountain of information can save you time - and money.
Background Investigations
It pays to know with whom you're doing business. Whether you're hiring an employee, considering business with another company, or conducting an asset
analysis, a background investigation can help you avoid costly business mistakes and liability. From a simple public records check for a person's driving
history and arrest record - to a complete lifetime dossier, we can provide you with peace of mind. Delphic conducts pre-employment background checks,
general background investigations, due diligence investigations and more.
Employment screening can be a practical, low-cost way to significantly reduce employee theft and dishonesty and notably increase productivity and safety.
Certain industries require employment checks on all employees. Examples include the banking, financial, and security industries, transportation industries,
childcare, healthcare, and teaching industries, police, law enforcement, and certain military positions. The level of background investigation may vary
from industry to industry or position to position. Employers who actively screen their applicants before hiring also face less liability in the event of
a workplace accident or crime. Pre-employment screening is a primary way of eliminating or minimizing negligent hiring liability.
Asset Investigations
Asset investigations range from a simple property search to a complete financial composite of the subject. We have simple asset checks that simply
look for property, vehicles and businesses (these are great decision making tools when you're considering a case or offer). We also have complete asset
investigations that paint a complete picture of your subject's financial world.
Criminal Defense
While all criminal cases do not require the services of a professional investigator, in those that do, the investigator is one of the most important
members of the defense team. The investigator has several different, but equally important functions in preparing for an effective defense to the
government’s charges. Delphic's investigative staff, which include Federal and State law enforcement officers have the knowledge, skills, experience
and training to provide professional criminal defense investigations.
Delphic’s experienced investigators also have developed a networking system with other investigators in order to be able to utilize the services of
other investigators in other jurisdictions should it become necessary to locate a witness or conduct other investigative activities when required.
This networking ability also aids the investigator when he is called upon to locate expert witnesses necessary to assist in the case.
Witness Interviews
Interviewing witnesses, assessing their credibility, presentation, and impression, and taking their statements is an extremely important capability of
any private investigator, regardless of whether or not the case is of civil or criminal nature. Witness interviews should be accomplished as soon as
possible after review of all file and discovery materials. Most of your investigator's time will be consumed by this phase of any investigation, which,
arguably, is the most important phase. Preparation is the key to a successful witness interview and statement, and we make it a point to adequately
prepare prior to the interview.
Surveillance
Surveillance is the systematic observation of persons, places or things in order to obtain information and is typically accomplished without the
knowledge of the person being watched. While it is not always the most cost effective approach to an investigation, it is sometimes the only available
option. Delphic investigators utilize state of the art equipment and surveillance techniques to capture critical video footage that is consistent with
the needs and objective of its clients. Our investigators are professionally trained and an average case turn around time is 15 days.
Computer Forensics
The simple definition of computer forensics is:
"... is the art and science of applying computer science to aid the legal process. Although plenty of
science is attributable to computer forensics, most successful investigators possess a nose for investigations and for solving puzzles, which is where
the art comes in." - Chris L.T. Brown, Computer Evidence Collection and Preservation, 2006
Any computer literate indivdual can purchase a toolkit designed to recover data or ferret out hidden files. But only a trained, experienced investigator
can give you the insight your case deserves.
Data Recovery and Disaster Recovery
Disaster recovery is the process, policies and procedures of regaining access to records, data, hardware and software necessary to resume critical
business operations after a natural or human-induced disaster. To increase the opportunity for a successful recovery of valuable records, a
well-established and thoroughly tested plan must be developed. A disaster recovery plan (DRP) should also include plans for coping with the unexpected or
sudden loss of key personnel. Does only one person in your office understand how your network functions?
Delphic's alliance with industry professionals can help you design a DRP for your company - regardless of its size.

Forensic photography (sometimes referred to as forensic imaging or crime scene photography) is the art of producing an accurate reproduction of a
crime scene or an accident scene for the benefit of a court. It is part of the process of evidence collecting. Delphic's investigators are trained and
certified by EPIC (Evidence Photographers International Council). From images of accidents to broken machinery, photography of this kind involves
